About me

Welcome to my photography site. 

 

My name is Ann and I am originally from a small town in Belgium, Europe. Since April 2000 I live near Vancouver in the province of British Columbia which is located in the western part of Canada. Vancouver is a beautiful city located at the edge of the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by mountains. In the years that I have been living here I really got to enjoy the beautiful west coast.

All this beauty really inspired me to start with photography.  I purchased my first digital camera in 2001. I started sharing my photos on online photo forums where I have learned so much from fellow photographers, amateurs and professionals.
In late summer of 2006 I finally decided I need a bit of a camera to give me some more options. It had a build in zoomlens. This helped to improve my skills in so many ways. I am no professional whatsoever, but I do love to go out with my camera when there is time. I enjoy landscape photography of any kind such as mountains, ocean, lakes, sunrises, sunset and also city scenes. In the summer of 2008 I bought my first DSLR and am now on my third one.
